Great news! Not particularly fond of the "City View" name, but maybe that will change. The condo market is pretty soft at the moment -- Cutters Ridge, for instance -- but hopefully it will improve over the next few years.

It has softened, but by the time this project would be finished (late 08 at the earliest probably) it will likely be improved...

I liked the red brick look of Manchester on the James renderings. Do you suppose the appearance will change much along with the new name?

I hate to be a wet blanket but when I ran by today the sign (as mentioned previously by someone else) at the site states 2-3 acres of land for sale with approved condo zoning. If they were ready to build the condo towers then why would they be selling the land??? I'll believe it when I either see a website with condos for sale or earth being moved.

The issue is probably demand for condos... Crosland is the developer of the project now.

The market for apartments is still lagging behind condos. Currently, single home sales is where the market still is.

I think an SUP was submitted recently to change the development plan here... no details though.
