School Board Property on Riverfront

I saw this article that discusses moving the School Board off of its riverfront property but the big hold up seems to be the developer a road built to split the property. I say build the road, so that redevelopment of this property can occur as soon as possible. 2000 new condos and mixed use development is certainly preferable to what is there now.

I like the comments about the possiblity of a central park for JAX. I wonder if this will actually happen?

Use this if needed

The Schooboard site would be the perfect spot for a park. With the JEA site, San Marco Village and the Riverwalk comming online in the next few years it would be a very busy place.

Also with the St. John by the Acosta, Frienship park will appreciate quite a few more patrons.
