The mayors actually did some networking in addition to their wagering. Providence's Johnson & Wales University just opened (or is about to open) a campus in Charlotte, and of course Charlotte's BofA is buying Fleet which was founded in Providence (but is now based in Boston). The mayors are trying to figure out how they can work together to make these new relationships benefit their cities.

Providence is having it's Patriot's celebration this spring.

Krispy Kreme's home is in North Carolina. Maybe he sent KKs with the boiled icing. I think that is only available in the Carolinas. Everyone else gets a different concotction.

When I saw this poll, I had to vote. I predict the New England Patriots will win by a squeaker, 32-29.

I also predict that Beyonce will look fine as hell while singing the National Anthem, and that Janet Jackson will flash a boob to the world.
