New Realm Brewing project for Greenville's West End moves forward after debate

A brewery project that had been delayed due to challenges with a special exception permit has gotten the go-ahead from the city’s Board of Zoning Appeals. 

New Realm Brewing, which is slated to go into the Cigar Warehouse space at 912 S. Main St., in Greenville’s West End got approval for its special exception to build an indoor entertainment facility and an outdoor entertainment venue space on the property.

101 Markley Street is staked off with survey stakes.  This is the parking lot across from where the Kimpton Hotel was or is going.  Perhaps it is about to flip??

City Council meets in Executive session on Monday to discuss these topics. The UCB item apparently is to add their recent purchased parking lot (across from the new HQ) to the multi-county industrial park.  The Unity Park item MAY just be limited to the additional parking on Welborn St that will be voted on in the public portion of the regular meeting. But it may include other properties.

Based on the renderings, and that this unit is listed as unit 7, I can only assume this project has expanded onto the adjoining lot at Bradshaw and Howe. The plans haven't gone to DRB yet though.  Inquiring minds want to know...
