Does anyone know anything about this building? It's address is posted as 1370 Lockland and it's located right at the intersection with link in what was part of the storage facilities (old Kroger's) parking lot. It looks as if it could be government tasked.

Wendy's on North Peters Creek (close to the intersection of Link Rd.) has closed. I don't know exactly when, but the signage was down and big handwritten closed signs on the doors today.

Wendys had indicated several weeks ago that the property on Peters Creek Parkway was too small and outdated, and could not be expanded. So, they would close it and look for another location.

Arby's on North Peters Creek has also closed (right across from the forementioned Wendy's.) I wonder if they're owned by the same franchise?

Hmm...that is oddly coincidental. Though I always thought it was very repetitious to have multiple chain restaurants within 1-2 miles of each other on the same road.

Was also going to post a comment that was referenced in the WSJ article you linked that multiple pieces of equipment were at the Mayflower site this morning along with Port-a-jons (that's a new addition.) So Mayflower should be rising from the ashes soon!

yea it was in the WSJ. they bought land next to their current location to expand the dining area.

The old Arby's location on North Peter's Creek is under contract. Not sure of what would be going in there.. keep an eye out!

Triad Dodge has vacated their dealership location on Peters Creek and has moved in with Northside Chrylser/Jeep. Not sure if this was space or economy related.. maybe both.

If the Kmart on Peters Creek Parkway does close, it will leave Winston-Salem Kmartless.

no location is safe. they filed for Chapter 11 and all stores will be closing.

Mayflower Seafood... signage is up, they are working on the interior, the parking lot and landscaping need to be done.. this is dragging on WAY to long!

3 years after the fire, Mayflower is going to reopen Monday April 20th, at 11am. This has been the longest reconstruction for a restaurant I think I've ever seen..
