For anybody interested, there's a half-day symposium coming up on June 1st at Furman about turning the process of turning the Reedy River into a Greenway Park System.

FROM FLOODPLAINS TO GREENWAYS: A half-day symposium on creating parks along river corridors.

Sponsored by the Saluda-Reedy Watershed Consortium, Upstate Forever, Conestee Foundation, Friends of the Reedy River, City of Greenville, City of Travelers Rest, Greenville County Recreation District, Greenville County, and Furman University

An article about the Scottish Games on June 9 & 10. Didn't realize the parade would be downtown. :thumbsup:

Yea - saw a poster for this in Salsarita's on Augusta last night and noticed the same thing. So it is a two-day event after all, if you count the downtown parade.

I've mentioned this group before, for their film/book discussions at Coffee Underground, but the Caleb Group will be having a showing and discussion of the da Vinci Code at the Camelot theatre.
