What was going on today at Falls Park? There were white tents set up and people everywhere.

The Irish festival was today. :alc:

I don't remember the name of the festival, but it was mentioned in one of the threads.

September 22-24: Southern Exposure

From their site: Southern Exposure Cultivate your senses at Southern Exposure presented by The Cliffs Communities.

This three-day experience in Greenville, SC, will showcase wine, food, and music through programmed tasting events, roundtables, musical performances, and celebrity chef-hosted culinary demonstrations.

Proceeds from this event will support the 501 C3 (LBDG) started by restaurateur Carl Sobocinski and platinum selling musician Edwin McCain to benefit Upstate non-profit organizations.

This year's Southern Exposure festival will take place on September 14, 15, & 16. Make plans now, as it is not a free event. However, the quality is second to none. :hi:

I saw the poster in Falls Park a couple weekends ago. "Singin' In the Rain" is the first of the movies. Gotta love the classic musicals. :shades: Unfortunately, it appears that I will miss every one of them in May this year, but hopefully not in September. If anyone has yet to get out to one, I highly recommend doing so as it is a very memorable experience.

Out of town during May? We'll miss you!

I'll take a few Moonlight Movie pics and post for you! :)

Unfortunately yes, a contract is forcing me to be out of town most of May, though I hope to get back home on weekends. There aren't too many things worse than being away from beautiful Greenville during the Spring, Summer, or Fall.

When I was four years old, a replica Herbie the Love Bug drove by my house. I must've chased it for two blocks. It was in town promoting the release of the film. It was the greatest thing that had ever happened to me (at that time). ^_^

RT, I just noticed you are posting when the movie is probably playing. Does this mean you are using the downtown wireless internet service, or did you not make it to the Moonlight Movie tonight afterall?

I had an eye appointment late this afternoon...didn't expect the eyes to be dilated. It still hurts to just look at this screen, much less drive and go to moonlight movies. My right eye is still TOTAL APERTURE while the left is almost back to normal.

I lied. My eyes were just dilated, so I'll not be there tonight. I'll catch Herbie next week.

Wish you could have made it. Large crowd and beautiful weather! Very lovely evening! Saw several people taking photos.....figured some must be UPer's. :)
