Walnut Hill is buzzing with more residential underway. There's the 151-unit (plus 12 townhome) development on the Unum Parking lot between Walnut/Cherry & 4th/3rd Streets. And 11 new ($1+ million) townhomes going up along Walnut in the block bounded by Cherry/Walnut/3rd Streets & Aquarium Way.

Makes me want to move back so badly. Chattanooga is one of the best cities I've ever lived in. The natural beauty combined with how much there is to do there, especially how much outdoor things there are to do. Add in the proximity to the other great cities around it and other nearby activities, Atlanta, Huntsville, Nashville, and the Smokies and the hiking in the upper Cumberland from Fall Creek Falls all the way up towards Cookeville. It's truly a great area. This project only amplifies the attractiveness of the city.

More residential in the core. Riverfront keeps buzzing and Southside are the hottest areas right now. And 300 new residential units u/c on Northshore. Plus, more premium level townhouses on the old Unum parking lot at 4th.  Downtown's footprint is growing together with lots of density around commercial hubs.

The Fairpoint on a Northshore knoll at 411 Fairpoint Drive. From the TFP: Not especially crazy with the materials, but the views and density are nice. https://www.timesfreepress.com/news/business/aroundregion/story/2019/apr/11/condo-complex-north-shore/492437/
