Dealing with the DDA?

Anyone dealt directly with the DDA on any issues, specifically, Jay Fowler, others?

I've worked with Jay other planning initiatives, but not with the DDA.

Why do you ask?

I have a meeting with him today on a project and have never met him before. Just wondered how he was to work with.

One of the forumers here used to intern for him, and says he's a great guy!

I've met Jay a couple times. He's been with the city in some capacity for years. He really knows the infrastructure of this town backwards and forwards.

He's an advocate for more use of public transportation as well as projects or grants towards the overall beautification of the city.

I know he was a city planner at one time, and I think his background is in engineering.

I deal with Jay on a regular basis on multiple buildings... He is a pleasure to work with! He along with his co-workers are up to speed with what has and is happening D-Town and put a ton of effort into beautifyng the area...

His predecessor, James Knack, was also a good guy to deal with. He very much had his finger on the pulse of what was going on downtown.
