I didn't have school today since this was exams week so I thought I'd do some picture taking. I'll start it off with some colorful houses near downtown Ann Arbor.

These next 4 pictures are of my favorite building in Ann Arbor, First National Building. I was trying to get some cool shots of it:

The rest of the pictures are from downtown Ypsilanti. It was my first time going there, it's not far from Ann Arbor. I've heard that the Depot Town part of Ypsi is nice but I'll have to make another trip to go there.

Nice pics. :D I was wondering since I don't know the area too well. Are all the cities and towns you've been taking pics in all around the same area?

Thanks GRDadof3 and Mith.

Mith, yeah, all the towns are near eachother that I have taken pictures of, the farthest distance between two of them might be about 40 minutes but a lot of them are much closer to eachother.

Even closer than I would have thought. Interesting to have all these nice towns all in one general area.

Great pics. The first pic you took of a campus building on the U of M campus recently got approval to not be demolished for the new residence hall. It will be incorporated into the new building. However, the rest of the structure which was formerly Ann Arbor high school will be demoed. The former high school is nearly 100 years old I think.

ZachariaDaMan: You should take a google map and plot your trips when you do this, and then post if for us

Do you have a sample you can show of what you mean? Do you mean hand drawn on a Google map or is there a way to plot them on Google? Just curious. Thanks.

You can just ask Googlemaps for directions, and it will draw a line for you. I did this as an example (Detroit to Ypsilanti):

I haven't had time to figure out if you can plot more than two locations. Someone here probably can do it :whistling:

Great photos, ZachariahDaMan! I love Ann Arbor! That Nickels Arcade is pretty awesome, from what I recall. Is the Red Hawk Bar & Grill still there on South State?
