Fire at Bulkeley High

Its an electrical fire causing power outages all over the South End...(we lost power briefly at Trinity...about 3 blocks west). Post developments.

Update:

As of about 6:00PM there were about 3100 outages (says WFSB, NBC30 says 3700) outages in the south end including 700 in Wethersfield. This is down from a high of 5800 outages

Power was still out along Franklin Avenue meaning traffic lights during the nighttime rush hour, maple ave restored

Bulkley will be closed tomorrow and if power is restored to the 5 other schools in the area before tomorrow then they will be open for classes tomorrow, if not they will also be closed

Knocked out cable at Trinity (at least in my dorm)...as of 11pm it still isn't back up. Did I miss anything good on TV?

I graduated from Bulkeley in 93. Any damage to the main building. It looked so cold up there in the newscast.
