At the rate of current development, The Village will probably merge with the West End, in terms of continual development within 10 years I bet. 

 

Not that anyone would want from the LandMark Building to Brandon Mill, which is why the trolley should be expanded.

Yes, trolley expansion would be encouraging, and positive change in West Greenville is desirable. The article indicates this concept is more than a mere rumor, however, it seems someone may have overlooked the uncomfortable gap between Downtown Greenville and The Village of West Greenville. Trolley service should help, but how late will they operate and can they guarantee rider safety after dark?

Does anyone know what grocery chain is going in at Duncan Chapel and Old Buncombe, it's been rumored to be a Walmart Neighborhood Market but is anything confirmed on this?

In completely different news, rumor has it that Furman U. is buying the Vinings apartment complex on Duncan Chapel Road. If they do, I devoutly hope they put a sidewalk between the apartments and the back entrance to the campus.

The property just sold last month for $1.9mm. It is 1.878 acres.  Perfect location since it is walking distance to McBee Station and Cleveland Park.
