That is terrific news! I was a member in NYC and loved it.

From everything that I've seen they are great company.

It's too bad it's only for Brown-affiliated folks with no plans to expand to the rest of us - Zipcar is such a great program and would be one solution, albeit not the best, to the overnight parking issue and general lack of parking in Providence.

I was in Italy a few years ago, and this car is everywhere in Rome. Impressive, considering its size.

The website doesn't list Providence as a city that has zipcar... Is this only for people with a Brown ID?

Right now it's only for Brown, but if it does well at Brown they would most likely expand the program.
