I was just curious because I heard that this was a fast growing community.

There's a Hilton Garden Inn under construction in the Fairpark District. This is supposed to serve as the city's new convention hotel. I believe that some sort of Elvis museum is in the works, but I haven't heard much about this lately. A new furniture market is expected to take shape soon, smaller than that found in High Point, but the same idea.

Tupelo Airport Receiving More Passengers

This article suggests that the airport in Tupelo is seeing increased business. I wonder if this will mean something more than regional jets?

Hilton on the Rise

The Hilton Garden Inn and the adjacent Bancorp South Conference Center are in the midst of construction activity. Both buildings should be complete by December.

That's good news for Tupelo. This should have a ripple-effect for more growth in Fairpark District.
