What do you all know and/or think about the proposed development in Grand Rapids Township (3 Mile and E. Beltline area) called The Village (makes me think that the Stepford wives will be here . . ) modeled after a similar concept in Rochester Hills . . .

The February 2006 issue of "Heartland Real Estate Business" had an almost full page story talking about this project. The concept of a "village" that encompasses housing and retail in a small town community feel on approximately 60 acres.

The developers are Robert B. Aikens & Associates from Birmingham and GR based BDR . . .
