It took me awhile to post these pictures, but here they are. :)

I was only able get around lower downtown because of the complete overhaul of the sidewalk system on Canal Street, and upper sections of Poydras Street, which is a great project that was very necessary. Though I also have some shots from Poydras Stree. Enjoy :D

Saks Fifth Avenue, which like some of the other Shops at Canal Place was looted and set on fire after Katrina, though it is expected to open by March.

Coming up to Poydras Street. I'm a big fan of the things the city has done to make it's downtown streets nice, like lining the neutral gound's of Canal and Poydras with Palm Trees :D

Nice pics Nate. Did you go back recently or are these from your previous trip?

Those are from my previous trip. I haven't had much time recently to just walk around the city and take pictures, but I'm planning on taking more pics soon. :)
