It would be greatly appreciated if anyone (especially Parisians) could assist me in learning how one would go about living in France; moreover, I would be grateful for more info regarding the Paris neighborhoods (arrondissements) and life in general in Paris. Merci beaucoup, et peut-

Not having lived there, and only having been there twice, I would guess that the the arrondissemients south of the Seine would be prefereable. These areas are what is known as the Left Bank. That would be my preference, based on what people have told me.

We call Left Bank "Rive-Gauche".

Paris is regarded as divided in three parts since the Middle Ages : "La Ville", "la Cit
