State House Lighting

Recommended Posts

I've noticed recently that the state house seems to have red lights mixed in with the normal white lights, during the night. Has anyone else noticed this? I kind of like it actually, kind of ties it in with the colored lights of the electric plant, superman building, etc.

the red lights are for the AHA's "Wear Red" campaign. See the pic of the day thread for some details and a nice shot of the state house by Garris.

Thanks for the info. That's a nice photo by Garris of it. Kind of wish they would keep the red color actually.

Do they do special lighting for special holidays, like red, white & blue on the 4th, and so on? The pic Garris took was great - I would like to see the State House lit up more like that.
