A couple of other tidbits about Haywood:

Belk at Haywood is number 4 in sales in the chain (not including recent Proffitt's/McRae's), beat only by Southpark - Charlotte #1 / Crabtree - Raleigh #2 / and Hanes - Winston Salem #3.

I didn't realize Belk SouthPark had taken back the top sales spot from Hudson Belk Crabtree. Hanes Malll and Haywood sound about right as well.

I didn't realize Belk SouthPark had taken back the top sales spot from Hudson Belk Crabtree. Hanes Malll and Haywood sound about right as well.

They've always seemed to waffle back and fourth between 1 and 2. When the divisions were merged into Charlotte and Raleigh lost the buying offices, I think the day in day out attention to Crabtree faltered a little and Southpark took back the number one spot.
