Historic Depot Town!

For today's adventure I had originially planed to go to Ann Arbor like I always do and walk around for a bit but I decided to go to the historic Depot Town part of Ypsilanti instead. I've been to downtown Ypsilanti (along Michigan Ave.) but not Depot Town. By size Depot Town is smaller then the part along Michigan Ave. but I like Depot Town better. There is less vacant stores and they are in better shape. Here are the pictures I took:

Now for some houses near Depot Town:

^Sign inside of an antique store, any takers?

These next 3 pictures are of a house where a serial killer lived from the late 60's. His name was John Norman Collins. If you want to read about what he did then read a book called "The Michigan Murders".

Nice pics. Is it my imagination or does it always seem like wintertime with all the pics you've been posting? I guess I'm just used to my more southern type winter. I wish we would get some more snow, but doesn't look like this winter is going to be it.

You are right that I started posting all my pictures once winter started. The reason for that is mostly because I recently got my license so I wasn't able to do too much picture taking but I do love the winter, if I left Michigan I would definately miss the cold winters.

I hadn't thought much about it but I guess I'm just used to the type of winters we have down here. Sure it gets that way but it tends to be temporary.
