krazeeboi 189 Report post Posted February 20, 2006 Memorial Park looms in the shadow of larger Finlay Park downtown (they're practically right next to each other), but is a great park in its own right, although smaller. Here are some images from earlier today: Vietnam War memorial: USS Columbia memorial: Great War (WWI) memorial: Korean War memorial: Holocaust Memorial: Pearl Harbor memorial: "Gold Star" tribute: Back of Vietnam Memorial:
Spartan 1523 Report post Posted February 20, 2006 Thanks for sharing these. I have always liked Memorial Park, even though I never acutally go to it. Its more of a reflecting place than a relaxation place.
