How's this for a "Bizarro Jerry, George, Kramer" situation. Usually, when the economy is bad, it spells bad news for an incumbent. Since the East side of the State's economy is much worse than the West side's, wouldn't it be interesting if Granholm beat Devos in West Michigan (because the employment picture is better), and Devos beat Granholm on the East Side (where employment/population is suffering)?? Kind of like Gore losing his own home State??

Very interesting, and a scenerio that "could be." When I was leaving Metro GR, I saw 6 Granholm bumper stickers, against 2 Devos'

I did see an interesting bumper sticker in EGR the other day pertaining to the election. It said, I don't like Dick about Devos...thought that was one of the more interesting ones.
