Beyond Grand Rapids

I thought it might be interesting, seeing how this is a very active board, to post some of the other projects going on in other urban areas across the country. It is neat to see the trends and ideas that have been created and perhaps we could expose ourselves to some innovative ideas that we may not have previously considered.

From what I understand, Buffalo did a huge urban-infill project just outside of their downtown that came off pretty well. Sorry, no linky...

And I believe it had a Bass Pro Shop in it. Which goes to show you that a Cabela's would not be totally out of the question for downtown, although very unlikely.

Well there is a billion dollar casino/arena development going on in Pittsburgh...
