Fernan Tower would be tallest building in Cd'A, North Idaho

FERNAN VILLAGE -- Coeur d'Alene's tiny neighbor to the east could become home to the region's tallest building.

Meridian-based Charter Builders, which has projects throughout the Northwest, is proposing the 240,000-square-foot Fernan Tower, estimated to cost $50 million.

The slender building, pegged for Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive just south of Eduardo's Lounge on land currently occupied by the Monte Vista motel, would be 25 to 30 stories and up to 300 feet tall.

The property is just west (south) of I-90 near the golf course. The views will probably feature the lakes, hills, and golf course.

Hopefully this will get the developers in Boise moving on the Boise Tower...but anyways, good for CDA always growing upward...but tobad Boise cant get on the ball with things like that

that's too bad, that would've made for some amazing views. also, that picture is amazing, what a beautiful city!
