One more door into high tech being opened. Michigan seems to be knocking on every conceivable possibility. Hopefully some of this will equate into job growth.

Motorola has signed onto this project and has been testing high speed Internet connectivity on these test beds. The plan is to line the Interstates with high speed network capabilities for MDOT to begin with and later for other agencies and maybe the general public. The governor has already done some high speed video conferencing on the test bed network. Motorola has a test bed set up at the Farmington Hills Sales offices. I am supposed to get a preview of some of their capabilities within a month.
