PNC Park's north lot to get upscale digs!

After having tried their hand at luring a slots license to the Northshore, the group is now in discussions with some upscale extended stay hotels to anchor an entertainment/retail/residential complex on the parking lot north of PNC Park. This is great news, too bad it won't be ready for the ASG crowd but then again they might need the extra parking .

Any PICs yet. Sounds great. I've always felt they should have placed more residential development over there. Particularly right along the promenade. Best views and with a park!

Thes are from the summer '04, as the construction shows.

but it shows how people enjoy this area and no one lived there. It would have mad a great residential neighborhood, even with the traffic from the stadiums
