That looks great, I understand your frustration on the news on this, I seem to remember a post about it maybe a year or so ago, last I heard they had some snafu with real estate (URA if I remember). Glad to see it is picking up steam--to be completed in 2007! This is going to be great for that area of downtown, and a added magnet for conventions and shows at nearby David Lawrence.

Yeah, there was no news at all about this for quite a while. I nearly forgot about it, until the recent announcement that they were naming it after August Wilson. I am glad to see it is coming along.

All the lots are cleared already. I've been checking online and there seems to be alot of BIG money being donated to this. There was talk of having condos above it also. I don't know where that stands.

Good pt. urbani, I hope they do put some condos or (dare I say) offices above it, it'd be nice to have it a bit taller on the downtown scene and as long as the developer made the upper floors integrate well funcitonally with the museum and center downstairs I think it'd be a great idea!

I believe the plan was to have a mid rise condo sitting above the center next to the neighboring Duquesne Light Building (a very handsome, often unnoticed building by BTW)
