Whether, such man-made islands are even feasible for Tampa is not the point, the point is the magnitude, brilliance, and sheer gumption to create such landmarks doesn't even compute when I think of what they are doing over here. That would be so awesome in my opinion! It could also help using too much land out in the "burbs" etc. But go Dubai! I really like the palm one tho

I think this is the most ostentatious, stupid development I have ever seen in my life! It is so silly! I am not as big of a development person as are a lot of people on this site obviously, but some developments can be very nice. However, if the Tampa area ever did anything like this it would be laughable, IMO, just like the Palm in Dubai is to much of the world.

Building developments on the cutting edge is one of the things that made America famous all over the world. I salute what they are doing in Dubai. I hope we can rediscover that same vision and drive.
