Great news! The Ocoee River is one of the true natural gems of Tennessee. There are so many wonderful outdoor activities to had in the canyon and the surrounding mountains. There's hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rafting, anoeing, kayaking, and camping available for all in one of the most scenic areas in the East. Whitewater rafting, canoeing, and kayaking has become a big business on the Ocoee in Polk County. Nowhere else have I seen such a concentration of rafting outfitters and huge crowds of people enjoying the river. I'm very glad to here that this will continue for many years to come.

So does that mean that the caution light in front of "The Pig", Ducktown Dodge, and Hardee's is about to turn into a true signalized intersection? It is very dangerous and will be welcomed... and hey like you said... chalk up a 5th signal for the county! Go Polk!
