Pedestrian bridge across the Wabash that leads from downtown Lafayette to West Lafayette.

The "MIGHTY" Wabash River

A glimpse at West Lafayette - no time or battery charge to go over on that side of the Wabash.

When you walk back along the pedestrain bridge you get some nice angles and views of downtown Lafayette.

This is by far my favorite angle.

Downtown with the train station and bridge accessories.

A view of that construction site and another section of downtown from right in front of the train station.

i might be able to contribute some of my west lafayette photos... theyre actually primarily of Purdue Universities Campus.

That would be awesome! I did not have time, nor did my camera battery permit me, to go over to West Lafayette. So getting to see some West Lafayette pics would be great.

This city looks really cool. I really like the architecture of that old courthouse. The landscaping and brickwork looks great as well. Can you tell me how big Lafayette is? 100,000?

Population: 59,793 (has a twin city West Lafayette 28,778, home of Purdue University).

Metro (Tippecanoe and Clinton Counties): 186,190.

Metro Growth Rate:13.2%

7th Largest City in the state, but with West Lafayette it would jump several places

That info was in my first thread which also covered downtown, which I think you would enjoy as well. I also have a Part III up that had alot of the local housing stock to be found around downtown.

Here are the links to parts I and III.

Part III Housing: http://www.urbanplanet.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=22689
