Very cool, man, I really hope you get to. If I could, I most certainly would. It would definitely be rewarding, no doubt.

I hope I'm able to do it too. If that doesn't work out, I'll definately find another way to help. Trust me Brian, there's plenty of time to help in New Orleans. There's going to be a need for volunteers for years to come, and you'll definately be able to help somewhere. :thumbsup:

And good to see Baton Rouge gaining representation.

Definately great to see some more representation and activity coming out of Baton Rouge. I'd love to see even just one member pop up from Lake Charles or anywhere in SW Louisiana, that is one part of the state that is severly lacking representation. A member from Alexandria or any part of central Louisiana, and a member from Monroe or any part of NE Louisiana would also be great.

All in time I hope... :)

I'm definitely glad Richy asked me to come over here from that skyscraper forum. The web layouts are much better, the boards are more active, and the people nicer. :thumbsup:

What forum did Richy bring you in from? SSP? That's where I found Richy. :lol:

It's a chain then I guess. I'm glad Richy was able to bring you over, because I think you'll enjoy this site even more. SSP is still much better than SSC in terms of being operated and rules being set and actually enforced, but UP is far ahead of everyone else in that category. And like you said, it looks better too! :D

It probably is about 45 minutes at 70 mph. I drove out to La. Tech a few months back and it was about that long. Not bad at all, considering it used to be about a 70-mile drive when I lived in extreme south Shreveport.
