Thanks for pointing that out Sleepy. I hadn't caught it in the news. I like it also. It creates a nice urban corner there.

Yes, that's Cafe Francisco right beside it. What a great place to live...walk to bars and restaurants in the Pinch, walk to the new Bass Pro Shops Mega Store at the Pyramid, take a trolley to a Grizz game at the Forum or a show at the Orpheum...a very exciting time for Downtown Memphis!

Here's a picture of the location. I'm standing at the corner of North Parkway and Main looking North. In the background is the rear of Turning Pointe condos and retail.

And referring to previous discussion of Cafe Francisco, it is on the SE corner of North Parkway and Main, right behind me. Nice old Caddy parked in front of it. For some reason, ImageShack failed me and I couldn't get the image to resize to 640x480.

Downtown on North Main in what is called the Pinch district. It's right next to Cafe Francisco in the photo right above your post. It's the area across from the Pyramid. It's got some bars and restaurants, etc. There are two other condo developments in the area.
