Update questions

Since I don't live in Memphis, my main source of info about goings-on is the CA and this board.

Anyway, I was wondering about the status of the old UP bank on Front. I know it was sold, and apparently the buyers aren't being too open about their plans. That leads me to believe it might be a hotel, rather than condos, since that would require some negotiations with the operator. Anyone heard anything?

Also, a couple months ago, some group had a proposal for the Sears building that they were supposed to present to some planning organization last month. Anyone know the status of this?
