Willis-Knighton hospital in the Top 100

Recommended Posts

Shreveport's Willis-Knighton hospital, which boasts the title of Louisiana's largest hospital, was recently named by Solucient as of the nation's Top 100 heart hospitals, and now Solucient has named it one of the Top 100 (general) hospitals in the country in the Large Community Hospitals category. See the listing below:

Great news for Willis-Knighton, as well as Shreveport!

As well as Louisiana. Only a handful of Louisiana hospitals ever make it on such prestigious lists, and it's great to see Louisiana's medical field progressing. With a state that always ranks 49th and 50th in just about everything, something like this is very good to see.

In addition to the new medical office building Willis-Knighton is building across from their north Bossier City hospital, the company is also expanding its women's and children's hospital, Willis-Knighton South, in southwest Shreveport. It will spend $8.5 million to build a new 42-bed neonatal unit at the site.
