oil drilling

I guess i'm one of the few who oppose this, since I believe oil drilling off the coast should be allowed. Potentially, there's billions of dollars to Florida's economy sitting under water and I'd rather take advantage of that and drilling in Alaska, then continuing to fool around with the Middle East.

i can totally agree with this but our environment is going to have huge changes in a few years. if u look at texas coasts and ask any surfer or swimmer they will tell you about the dirty water and ugly coasts. people have even had health problems after swimming in the water...do you want our beautiful coasts to be like that?

Are you sure that is a result of the oil drilling, because I know the sand there is not pritinely white like our sand, but it has always been that way.
