Eminent Domain For Private Use

Based on all the proposed new developments in downtown GR, I think that the topic of eminent domain is one that is worthy of being discussed. Now, I'm not talking about seizing property to build roads, I'm talking about the government seizing property for private development based on the economic impact that a proposed development would bring to a city. I think there are a number of different issues that this question raises and I think that it is a pertinent subject to discuss when talking about any urban development.
