UPDATE:New Greenville Restaurants

As a whole, I like Salsarita's food better (but it depends on the location....Moe's seems more consistent from restaurant to restaurant). The Salsarita's on Augusta is great as is the one in Greenridge. The Salsarita's over at 14 and Pelham needs a little help. :(

I concur about the 14 and Pelham location.

I just found a link to a design firm that hopefully shed some light on this, but according to this website, Galvin Design Group, there is a Smokey Bones planned for Greenville, or is somehow in the works

MJ, you have just made my day, man!!! I'll not let up on the monthly e-mail I send them asking them to open a restaurant here, though, just to be on the safe side.

Super Suppers is coming to Crescentwood Village. There are 2 more chains that offer the same service coming very soon. One to Butler Rd, next to Veggies to Go. The other to Woodruff Rd. I have to check to get the chain names.

There is an existing restaurant like this that is locally owned. 'Supper's at the Table' it at the corner of Pelham and 14.

Fantastic business concept, IMO. The food costs are about what they would be at home, and it is a lot of fun.

I was by Crescentwood on Butler last night and there is a sign for Dream Dinners coming soon. Does Super Suppers own Dream Dinners? The website for SS shows them coming to Crescentwood.

Sorry, here is the followup to my previous post concerning the make-your-own-dinners restaurants.

Dream Dinners will be going on Butler, in Crescentwood Village. Super Suppers will also be going on Butler, next to Veggies-to-Go, which is about a mile away. Dinner's Ready will be on Woodruff Rd, next to Wisteria, less than a mile from Super Suppers. And again, Supper's on the Table is at 14 and Pelham. I wonder what market saturation is in that business? :P

On a side note, a sushi restaurant is going into Crescentwood Village in between Moretti's Pizza and Mamma Jamma Maternity (both of these businesses are also locally owned.)

Edit: grammar

It's interesting that most of those make-your-owns seem to be on the outskirts of town to the south and east. I guess that's for the suburban crowd.

It's still irritating that we can't get any interesting restaurants to the north and west of town.

I posted this in the Food Thread, but it should be posted here as well.

Brick City Grille will be opening an additional Greenville location on Woodruff Road soon. I have yet to try out the Pelham Road location, but have heard great comments about the original in Anderson. :shades:
