"The Taunton State Hospital (officially known as the State Lunatic Hospital at Taunton) is a psychiatric hospital built in 1851 within Taunton, Massachusetts, USA. Although most of the buildings have been vacant since 1975, the site continues to accommodate mentally ill patients, as well as juvenile offenders, and branch offices of various state agencies. The architecture of most of the buildings on the grounds of the facility are of a unique and rare neo-classical style designed by the architect Elbridge Boyden. Unfortunately, most of the abandoned buildings on the grounds of the hospital are left neglected."

By looking at those pictures it appeared to be quite a beautiful building yet by the sound of the news reports there wont be much left of it (although it had been neglected for quite some time).
