I just thought I'd welcome everyone to the Ann Arbor forum. It's my favorite city to go to, hopefully with a forum for it more people will discover just how nice it is.

I think this will definitely give new AA members a sense of place. That way they will feel more comfortable to post. I know a lot of people here in Ann Arbor who have been to urbanplanet, but are not members. Additionally there are a few members here that go to U of M, but have never posted. They can feel free to join in the discussion anytime

Congratulations.. Ann Arbor definitely deserves its own forum. I lived there a couple of years while my wife was attending U of M, and we really enjoyed living there. Our favorite city in Michigan.

Congratulatons. My second favorite city in Michigan (have to give first place to my home town, GR), and one in which I spent a lot of quality time. May this forum be as successful as the West Michigan site.

exciting! I am surprised it took AA this long to get its own section -- there's certainly enough going on in the city to warrant its own forum!
