Where exactly is this building. I was out at Doc Chey's the other night and don't recall seeing a building this far along.

If you were at Doc Chey's, how could you have missed it? You must not have entered from Market Point Drive? It's on Market Point Drive back behind Blue Fire Grill.

Great density. Look at page 11 and it really shows the density. Most of the square parking areas are decks surrounded by shops / offices / residential, as opposed to lots. Sweet. :D

Thsi project does indeed sound like a winner. Has anyone heard a time frame for a start on this?

We're looking at what, 2300 units? So we might see 3k- 5k residents?

Man, "Ask and ye shall receive."

Here is an article discussing a timetable; looks like next year.

Also a bit about the court st project.

Ah ha, that is why. I come from Laurens Rd, so I avoid all Woodruff madness by taking ICAR, and frontage Rd. I never got around to that side of the build... Thanks!

I guess I haven't replied to the latest info on The Point yet. After seeing the site master plan, I am thrilled beyond words in anticipation of its completion. This is precisely the type of new urban development I have been hoping to see in our city. I could definitely live there if it has an easy transit connection to downtown. Sure, it will never reach the status of downtown, but it is as close as we'll see anywhere outside of downtown. Completely AWESOME!!! :shades:
