Creston High School gets fully operational clinic

Recommended Posts

Anyone else read about this? I think its a pretty cool idea, something I am surprised to see in an urban school for sure. I like it. Medical care has been long forgotten since the days of a full time nurse being on staff. But this goes above and beyond that.

I heard its like a full lown clinic, where they can run some basic tests and stuff like that.

I think that's great. Kudos to the person who got the grants for that. It's nice to seee such a positive article about something going on in GRPS. I wonder did it make the televsion news?

I think this is great. I volunteer at Park School and they have doctors, nurses, lactation specialists, and counselors available there so the girls can get medical help and wellness care for their babies right at school. I love it.

Success for these kids will only come when the available services are all available to meet their needs.

Love it.

We've run calls at the Union clinic a bunch of times. The first time I was called there I expected to walk into a basic "nurses office." Instead I walked into a full-fledged clinic, with a Dentist fixing a student's cavities, xrays, everything. Amazing.
