The applicant is requesting to rezone the property to FRD, Flexible Review District for a maximum of 207 multifamily dwelling units. The maximum density will be 25 dwelling units per acre. The maximum square feet of all 3 buildings is 285,000 square feet. The applicant is also providing the required 25 foot setback around the perimeter of the site. Also, they are looking to rezone the Victor Mill to a FRD as well.  This is just beyond the Poe Mill skate Park area where the Orange line Swamp Rabbit Trail extension ends.

Big plans for this area.

thought Victor Mill was in Greer. At least before it burned and was torn down.

The common name is the American Spinning Mill, although there may have been a Victor association in the past since it's next to Victor Street.

Ironically there was a fire in that building earlier in the month; fortunately didn't burn down though as far as I know.

Be aware that this is the smaller project not the larger one I posted. The larger one hasn’t been announced yet.

DRB having an informal review next meeting of the Final Development Plan for The Holbrook Assisted living development at Buncombe and Butler Ave.  It must be getting ready to start soon.  Big changes coming to that intersection.

I thought it had been approved already?
