HONG KONG Mega Photo Thread Part 2

Recommended Posts

I'm starting to put together all the photos from my Hong Kong trip, and I'm beginning to see the sheer volume of stuff that I photographed. IFC is a major reclamation and development project that rose out of the new airport plan a decade ago. The land on top of Hong Kong Station was destined to be a new office hub with serviced apartments on the side. Here is a sample of shots I took of the IFC complex from various angles. I didn't realize I had so much :

Wow, those are some gorgeous shots. Some great looks at the buildings there in that area. Then of course I really loved those night shots, just beautiful. Thanks for sharing those.

Amazing. The Four Seasons is brilliant looking. And the IFC Building still reminds me of the Wachovia tower in Winston Salem, a much taller version of it of course :0

Hong Kong is one of many cities around the world I've never been to, but I know people who have. Every picture I see of it is cool and makes me want to visit more. I love the skyline in that city.

Yeah I don't know if anyone could argue that it doesn't have one of the nicest skylines in the world. Obviously people could find a few others to maybe stick ahead depending on taste. But it's got to be pretty high up there on the list.

Bowen Road is one of my favourite walks along Hong Kong Island's hillsides. It is easily accessible by bus and the walk starts right below Highcliff & Summit and winds its way above Wan Chai towards Admiralty and Central. It offers a lot of nice vantage points of the skyline.

I checked back my old Bowen Road gallery on my website and I couldn't believe how small it was. I knew I had more material so I spent the weekend digging up my photos and completely revamped the section. Here are some examples :

Great pics as always. Not that I know the geography of Hong Kong really well but I was curious where you took these pics from.

The white and green building on the right? That's the ferry terminal.

No the one further off in the distance, left center.
