The biggest news is that developer wants to put up a few condos in the new "Town Center" area of Hendersonville. This should serve as a stimulus to get this project moving.

In more suburban news, several new restaurants are coming to Hendersonville. I find this noteworthy because 2 of the outlets, Cheddars and Saxby's Coffee, will be the first of their locations to open in the Nashville area.

Hendersonville looks set to build a $40 million "Sports Mall." I think this is a great idea, especially for our hockey teams which will no longer have to travel to Nashville and Franklin to play and practice.

I think Cheddar's has plans to build 6 restaurants in the Nashville area. I am looking forward to eating there. A great place with a great menu selection and good prices. When I go to Kingsport, I always eat at the one there. You will not be disappointed.
