Seven Houses For Sale In City's Upscale West End, But Realty Agents Say It's Just A Sign Of Spring

Turn down Scarborough Street in Hartford's upscale West End, and you can't help noticing four "for sale" signs clustered together.

It looks like the makings of a flight from the city's toniest neighborhood. But, in fact, it's more of a coincidence than anything else and part of the flurry that accompanies the normally busy spring home buying and selling season.

What amazes me about these properties is how cheap they are. If some of these houses were a couple hundred yards to the west they'd be selling for well over a million. A 5,000 sq ft house for $800,000? Amazing.

Yeah, and if I had the money I'd buy one in a minute. Like SOCOM said, those houses are bargains.

Actually a few of them are going fo well over a million.... Still seems like a bargain though (if you have the money), that street is absolutely beautiful....

Yeah the west end of Hartford has some really nice houses.
