Construction Question

In alot of forum a height/cost discussion seems to sneek in everytime there's talk about keeping the cost down and staying under a certain height. Does anyone have any spcifics on this?

I'm sorry for the bad explanation. I think it would work that, 6 stories would cost a certain amount per square foot, but for example 7 floors, because of the height of the building the cost per square foot would considerably increase unless it was increase to say 12 floors, but then there's other money issues.

I've heard this quite a bit before too. I've always heard that the big dividing line comes at when a floor is above 55 ft. I know someone here must know this...
