Baton Rouge Photo of the Day

speaking of odor and sewage plants. The sewage plant on gardier needs to be moved, or cleaned up. The smell is horrible and everyone i know always comments on it. On many days, you can smell sewage anywhere from south kennilworth parkway all the way past bluebonnet while driving down burbank. Maybe if pinnacle gets there casino built right there, they might have some influence on some action being taken?

Umm..... I don't think I did it right. Can you explain to me how to do it?

You want to use [ img ].... [ / img ]

The pic needs to be on the internet somewhere like at a site that will allow you to host the picture. A few free ones are http://www.dropshots.com/, http://www.webshots.com/ and http://www.imageshack.us/

When you have the web address for the picture you will put it where the ..... are located. You will also take the spaces out.

Thank ya byrde. Lemme see if I can actually do this. LOL I'm not exactly the best when it comes to things like this. LOL

I used this link.. http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/3135/br8bu0.jpg

I don't know which one I used to be honest. It gave me 3 selections to choose from so I picked the one I though was right. Apparently it wasn't LOL...

Yes indeed Corey! Great minds think alike  nearly the same shot from the back of Shaw Center! Thanks for posting!

Nice B & W pic LT  That could go to the Historic tread!

GREAT for Downtown!!!! Historic(1927) renovated Hilton Capitol Center on Lafayette Street and Convention Street; to the right the historic Hotel King is being now being gutted for restoration; hopefully the 7-story 92 room boutique hotel will open in a year??

You are welcome LT  You ain't kiddin', that area of downtown really has a special vibe to it now! That used to be one of the most depressing looking places with green ferns growing out of the old hotel. Man did they fix that place up or what!!!

Taken from the changing North Blvd. Town Square

^Thanks LT. Looks like our shots were taken nearly the same time in the evening. I like the orange tint on the glass.

Sorry for the dark pic at sundown; Construction well under way for the new parking garage that borders Lafayette Street , North Street, and River Road.

Taken a couple of weeks ago
