Great pano, man! The view from the Capitol observatory is really a beautiful sight. I was up there last November, and I just about froze my butt off with the cold winds coming off the Mississippi!

Someone should throw some paint on that stadium or something. It's looking kind of old...in a not cool sort of way.

Give it a paved parking lot and some more seating (if there is demand for it).

OMG!!!! I actually posted a pic. I did it, I did it..... Anywho that is Town Hall for Perkins Rowe, those big black panels are the "Times Square" type digital billboard the guy in the sales office told me about.

yea...They will be displaying the new Movies Showing...very kool.....i seen the little model they had in the main office..and thoes billboards look great...id love to see them downtown

no yis the guy in the sales off said that they won't be showing the movie listing that they are more of billboards. I thought they were going to be used for the listings also but he said no. Yes I'd love to see some of those downtown as well. I think they would look great strategically places along 3rd st.

i wasnt talkin about showing movie listings......from what i seen in the office...it was a look like 3d poster for the movie...i seen one for the old spiderman 3 movie...and i forgot what the other 2 was...i cant explain it...but it look like them digital baseball cards with the lines on it

Nice shot LT of the tower crane at the Belle; I can't believe they will really build a parking garage that tall. There are now 4 tower cranes downtown!!!! Those clouds look awesome too!

Yuck. Parking Garages are ugly...and it will be taller than the Shereton.

I hope they make it look nice.

Do they really have trouble parking? I just don't see the need for that many spaces.

mannnn parking is a big problem for them...because they parking garage is free

so the hotel/the public/the casino take that up.....if hollywood casino gets bigger.....they'll need one 2....thats where all the traffic be downtown on late nights....at the casino's sunday through sunday

I was happy to see a full service hotel(Sheraton) finally come back to Downtown BR in the 90's. But I was a little disapointed with it only being 10-stories at that lower elevation sloped toward the river. Hopefully the parking garage won't be taller than the hotel?? How could they dress that thing up?

WOW at a nine floor parking garage. Its ashame they didn't work together to get something else on top of those nine stories.

I cannot wait to go to perkins rowe as a shopper. I think I am going to see I am Legend there!

Yeah I hope the casino parking garage is dressed up nicely. I would hope they would do something like the new 3rd St. garage. That one looks great and if you aren't paying to much attention you'd think it was just another building.

i was thinkin the same thing........i think thats what they are doing...because we would have seen atleast 2 levels already if it was regular

I like that both projects are only a block apart! Definetly going to give the southern CBD are more urban look IF the new Courthouse tops-out as high as the crane(far right) on that bottom pic; it's going to be fairly tall!! With a 30,000sq.ft. plate it will be massive too! I saw the crane Sat. night and was impressed! If thats how tall it tops out at; when seeing it driving south down River Road at North Blvd; it will be a significant structure between the Shaw Center and Old State Capitol.
