Baton Rouge Photo of the Day

Good question Bryde, seems like a remember 70%?? But that might have actually been the Crescent condo's at University Lake.

Yeah you right naquint1. Some of us here on UP still find it hard to believe with this development; a "city" within in a city(or suburbs). I had said Perkins Rowe is now the "unofficial" downtown for SE BR.

I posted this awhile back in PR thread.

Here's a few pics I whipped up on Google Sketch up of the B.R. skyline once all the projects are done.

First, here's a pic that Richy so affectionately calls the B.R.'s "dinosaur" skyline picture.

As always, excellent work Dan :shades: Talk about an elongated skyline if RiverPark gets done! It has been really fun watching downtown grow since the late 90's.

When did you take those pics?? The Malls look dead.

That's funny and cool you still remember my dinosaur reference to the skyline pic Wiki kept up for too long.

Thanks for those pics neweragenius; and welcome to the Forum's

LT, Great lighting in those Perkins Rowe shots!! :camera: I'm jealous my camera won't take night-time photo's like that. BTW how late did you take those pics?? It sure looked mighty quiet over there.

No doubt Bonne Carre and BRCC have really helped revitalize the Mid-city area. My Dad say's Bonne Carre the architecture and Palm trees looks like something out of Baghdad

Get you a DSLR Richy.

I was in Bonne Carre today for a meeting. They really have cleaned that place up. They need some retail and restaurants there. Right now all they have is a Subway.
