Great picture Richy, those colors are spectacular! I also like the contrast and the way the pic is slightly grainy, kinda gives it the feeling of a memory.

I traveled down to New Orleans during the holidays and while there I went with a friend to check out the abandoned Six Flags Park. I know these images might be in the wrong forum, but I thought they were really cool, and I wanted to share a few of them with y'all. All of these images were taken with an iPhone.

The park was very cool to sneak around in, and there were quite a few other people exploring too, that we chatted with. Around 5pm, a park ranger came in, and politely asked everyone to leave suggesting its not a safe place to be after dark, to which we agreed.

wow, those images i posted using the new uploader are huge! I have no idea why they are displaying so large, are y'all having the name troubles?

That's a lethal zoom-lens LT Tiger Stadium is an impressive venue(esp on Saturday Nights) at 92,400...16th largest stadium in the world by capacity!

Always thought Jazzland was on the wrong side of NOLA so isolated...

This isn't a Baton Rouge pic, but I figured I'd share anyway. It does have a bit of a Baton Rouge flare. I moved to Connecticut last week and took this photo of my girlfriend's car today.

I had to save that one, good find! Is this in 1876? And is that the Hilton? It was red?

I think its between 1910-1930. Actually it was brown, I guess they just over did it in the drawing.

Nice throwback Dan! Yeah the hotel was built in the 1920's...and of course there is the good ole' standpipe(1888) that should be the Red Stick

Here's a nice shot of the skyline from the Advocate; in the FuturEBR article the other day...nearly a ideal angle if it was shifted a bit to the right; and maybe a little lower; wish II City Plaza was taller

Hey LT...Hope all is well with you

This pic did not quite come out like I wanted it too...the top of the gateway buildings lights were not on for some reason and One American Place is virtually invisible

I'm guessing this wasn't a DSLR. Also remember not to use flash so the camera can expose the entire frame.
